In recent years the Purba family took it on and grew it from a traditional garage into the most complete automotive centre in the North East — without losing what made it trusted in the first place. We're family-run. We're honest about what your car does and doesn't need. And while we're not the cheapest, we genuinely care about every car that comes through the doors — because this name has nearly a hundred years behind it, and we've no intention of tarnishing it.

Where are you based and what areas do you cover?+
We're at 388 West Road, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE5 2ER, serving Newcastle and the wider North East. Our dry ice blasting and auto electrician are mobile and travel further across the region.
What are your opening hours?+
Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, with Saturdays by appointment. We aim to reply to new enquiries within about five minutes during working hours.
Do you offer collection and delivery?+
Yes — in many cases we can collect and return your car free of charge, which our elderly customers and those with bigger jobs especially appreciate.
Are you expensive?+
We're not the cheapest, and we don't pretend to be — but we're far more competitive than a main dealer and every job is done to dealer-level standards. You're paying for work done properly, once.
